Meet Lou Thompson Black

Lou has thirty years of experience as a practicing trial attorney.  For the past twenty-five years, she has primarily prosecuted toxic exposure cases nationwide.  Currently, much of Lou’s practice is focused in New Mexico, handling toxic exposure, trucking accidents, and other personal injury matters. 

Background

Prior to her employment with Black Law Group, Lou practiced at Haynes & Boone, LLP (1994-1997), Baron & Budd, P.C. (1997-2002), Brent Coon & Assocaites (2002-2010), and Bailey, Perrin, Baily (2010-2016).

Lou is married to John M. Black, also an attorney.  They have a daughter, Lily, and two Labrador Retrievers.  Lou, John and Lily spend most of their time in Houston. They spend the rest of their time in Crested Butte, Colorado.
