Experienced Texas Trial Attorney
Will Hatchett's primary purpose is helping people who have been harmed by no fault of their own. His practice focuses on standing up for individuals wronged by large corporations, advocating to secure the fair and just resolutions his clients deserve.
A Fort Worth native, Will earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and his law degree from South Texas College of Law, where he excelled in the nationally renowned trial advocacy program under Dean T. Gerald Treece. His exceptional advocacy skills earned him the Dean's Outstanding Advocate Award and induction into the Order of Barristers, a national honorary society recognizing extraordinary courtroom abilities.
Before law school, Will worked as a control room operator for one of the nation's largest energy providers, overseeing the country's largest renewable energy portfolio. This fast-paced, high-pressure environment taught him to solve problems effectively and efficiently, skills that serve him well in complex litigation.
Will gained valuable experience handling first-party bad faith insurance disputes, nursing home neglect cases, toxic chemical exposure cases, and personal injury cases before joining Perdue and Kidd in 2025. His passion for helping people who have been wronged has only deepened with each case, where he applies his developed skills, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to achieving justice.
Will's achievements include selection to Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2024, 2025), recognition by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2024, 2025, 2026), and lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestigious group limited to attorneys who have secured million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers qualify for this distinction.
Will remains actively involved as a trial advocacy coach at South Texas College of Law, helping develop the next generation of trial lawyers. In his free time, he enjoys college football, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, golfing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
