Essay Eden was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Bellaire High School, he attended the University of Houston and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Essay then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for Perdue & Kidd and joined the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. While clerking for Perdue & Kidd, he grew a passion for personal injury law. After earning his J.D. in 2019, he joined a personal injury law firm where he handled and resolved cases relating to car wrecks, premises liability , and workplace injuries. In 2021, he joined Perdue & Kidd as an associate and has since continued representing injured people. Essay enjoys guiding people through the process following an injury. He has a strong interest in helping those who are hurt and strives to give individuals a voice in the legal system. He is an advocate for all Texans and for making Texas a safer place.

Outside of the office, Essay enjoys camping, running, and attending concerts and sporting events.
